CLEVELAND, OH – After the Cleveland Cavaliers fell once again to the Golden State Warriors, leaving them in a 3-0 hole, the team has been forced to look anywhere they can for a win. If one thing is for certain, no answer resides within the sidelines of The Q or Oracle Area. Rather, the best place they’ve found to win is on the social media platform, Twitter. Surprisingly enough, the teammate working the hardest is none other that Game 1 scapegoat, JR Smith. Within the first hour, Smith had taken to Twitter to share a few thoughts on the 2017 Finals MVP.
At first, JR started off simple going after some low hanging fruit.
Next, JR reminded us that he was likely the first alternate for the old Ebert and Roeper movie critics segment.
We expected him to comment on the musical score of the film, but there’s a good chance he just forgot…
After that, the 3-point specialist started getting a little personal.
Then things just got plain dark
Jeez JR…
There’s no guarantee that the war of words will have any impact on game 4, but based on the unusually high comment count these tweets received, there’s no reason to think they haven’t done their job. Unfortunately for KD, JR’s sterling reputation on Twitter leaves little room for a come back. One can only hope KD can recover in time for Game 4.
